All thoughts may still be on Halloween, but Winter Break will be here before we blink – and we know what that means. Smartphones, tablets, computers, gaming consoles, and other electronic devices top the wish list for young people again this year. The sad reality is hundreds of thousands of pre-teens and teens will be handed these new digital portals to the world with no parental supervision. And, what’s worse, many will be left alone all day with their new devices during winter break while their parents are at work. It’s a potentially disastrous combination.
That’s where you come in. And that’s where we come in. But the clock is ticking.
We only have a few open slots for our Above The Fray youth and parent presentations between now and Winter Break. Let us help your students and their parents prepare for the pressures and pitfalls of the digital age. Our 60-minute talks are engaging, entertaining, and educational.
And most of all, they’re real. We share stories from the cyber-trenches, not only pointing out potential problems, but offering tangible solutions.
We know what can happen when young people are left alone with these devices. You see it and read about it every single day, just like we do. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
